How does everybody feel about the trading approach?

Originally, I was just giving my invites away to community members and I expected others would do the same. I didn't ask for a Google Wave invite in exchange for the invites I gave away, even though I would love to get a Google Wave invite.

I think it might be better to just give away what you have and trust that your kindness will be returned in some way, at some future time. However, I see nothing wrong with giving your invites to people who have a track record of participating in the community (e.g., developers, evangelists, etc.). Other thoughts anyone?

I just got a GV invite from Thommy above who asked for a Wave invite. I had nothing to trade with him but Good Karma! I see nothing wrong with me asking for a GV and Him asking for a GW in return if I had one. I wish I could return the favor to him.

I still would be interested in a Google Wave invite, if any available.

I could spare one Spotify invite to the one inviting me to GW, and give back to the forum 4 of the prospected 8 (?) invites received when joining...

PM or <mynick> at google's mail.

Good point. I see nothing wrong with that either.

Glad you got an invite, and thanks to thommy for sharing! :)

I too would LOVE a Google Voice invite, and a Google Wave invite if anyone is feeling that generous. How do I get the PM thing to work? When I click on "Private Messages" on the upper right, it tells me I don't have sufficient privileges. Thanks in advance!
