On another note, you're osso_initializing with "com.xiaoka.pcsxpcsx" when the service name (as defined in the D-Bus service and desktop file) is "com.xiaoka.pcsx".

Oh! THIS is the problem. Thanks for spotting it.

This is a content theft "protection" of my blogs.
There are people there making verbatim copies of my blogs posts to their SEO/AdSense "blogs". This is a punishement.

I forgot to add maemo.org to the exceptions list. It's fixed now. (Force reload the page Shift-Ctrl-R or clear browser cache.)

My apologies to all offended. :o

THAT is awesome :), seriously funny.

Thanks for this smoku. Top work,

This didn't help -1m3. Any other ideas?

Seems half of the stuff in /usr/games is directories (lmarbles for example), the other half is executables. Its not that hard to set executable permissions on a directory.

At any rate, whoever suggested /opt/pcsx was right...

As for the bit about debian's relationship to /usr/games, that is interesting. Makes sense though, so I digress.

/me remembers why he stopped using debian

Also your service should have the same name + .service.

Re: Guide to get pcsx to run and work

put the iso in the roms folder, run xterminal and type the following to run:

/usr/games/pcsx

once you do that there is a GUI, its pretty self explainitory.

file > run ISO
