I did. It even said added packfile ---pak0.pak 696 files and added packfile pak1.pak 523 files.

still fatal errors. my pak files are no good?

you need to instal hexen 2 on your pc then update it by installing the latest patch then copy the pak files to the MyDocs/.hexen2/data1 folder

I did that. Installed Hexen 2. Then installed the patch CepiPerez posted. (Noticed the pak files slight size change, so I presume the patch did somthing). Then copied it from data1 on the PC to data1 on the N900.

Weird yeah? :/ Here is a screenshot. Maybe someone can compare the sizes n let me know.

those r the sizes that i have used which work great, why dont u try to reinstall the .deb file again?

where is the quake 2 thread?

I found quake 2 in devel repo installed it but can't find anny informations on where to put the pak file

I've compiled and uploaded quake2 to extras-devel
But I don't make a thread cause I'll add keyboard layout support first.
Copy file pak0.pak to /home/user/.quake2/baseq2 and enjoy the game.
