If being turned off by initial approaches was the norm around here, most people that signed up after December 2009 or so would all have zero visibility and/or respect.

I can totally understand how that could happen. Sometimes, when i'm in the mood I try to help despite the initial approach. Other times I just ignore and on the rare occasion, I succumb to being human.

I'd suggest that this is what it looks like when people respond to individuals who go off their nut about something without

a: actually offering anything specific

b: checking to confirm the REAL reason why they're having problems

c: making silly comments aka: you need the internet for that

the n900 is a damn awsome device, but PR1.2 does suck, I mean just video calling, some extra functionality they ported from other parts of os like searching in app manager, ussd codes.

the core funtionailty is still missing, no official mms and no video over 3G this is just a crap update. hoping the next one will be better.

Nokia are just jumping on bandwagon after bandwagon, they dont have a clear focus, and from what I see from meego it seems like this is just being reproduced with that, when meego comes out they probably wont have many apps for it like the N900 and maybe missing core functionality.

really hope nokia can pull something off, would really hate to see them go down.

i had a few problems whit the update but i just deleted all user data after making a backup.
then i run the update restored the backup and it works realy well it works even faster than before.
its a real good update

c'mon! we waited long time for this! some flashed to the leaked ones! we overflooded a PR1.2 thread and made a Legend! we almost Boiled Dave999 in oil alive and loud! and then when the real thing comes in......it suck???? really??? you maybe :D
