I appreciate your liking for the N900 but right now it has more faults than anything else going for it and its all down to programming (and a badly designed USB port) and everyone who is indeed serious about it is doing whatever they can to find out how it can be improved and for my liking as bloody quick as possible.
Take a step back look at the footnotes on this thread and take a deep breath because i had to do exactly that when i first started in feb this year.
My opinion is the community is bundled enough with complaints and arguments and surely does not need any more than it can possible afford so take it easy and that is genuine advice i am giving you from experiance on here.

I think the biggest problem with the N900 atm is Nokia and its complete and utter failure to inspire any confidence in the future of the device.

No i disagree... this community will be the inspiration the N900 needs but right now its not doing a very good job of that because too many people are wining constantly instead of getting involved and giving constructive input.

The funny thing is that the N900 is perfect for my purposes. It does all the main things that I need it to do, and some other things too.

Thank you. I feel exatly the same way. And I know there are tons of others who also feel the same way. There is no other device out there in the market I would rather have. None!

Nokia N900 Pitfalls and Issues that should be recognised
If an admin/mod would be as nice as to change the title of this topic to reflect the thread title. Ty.

I have signed up merely to defend Nokia due to uneducated and terrible comments in these forums for which have no backing and understanding of the environment it is posted in and argued against.

More to be added.

Oh the "uneducated and terrible comments" left by these ignorant scoundrels....

You sound like a overconfident 15 year old, your parents only child, am I far off?

It doesn't matter what I am or what you think I am because I do stand by my thread unless you can prove otherwise. If all you can do is reply to this thread with that comment you shouldn't have bothered posting.
