apple is evil, and apple fans just don't care... they're going to hold it in right hand, they would hold it on their heads if mr. Jobs say so...

why is this an issue for maemo community?

Obviously as the biggest of the big, Apple can say whatever they want and in the end they will still be huge and will still sell a gazillion iphones. But, denying an issue that consumer reports verifies is bad policy. It is simply lying to your customers. And why lie when everyone knows the truth, or its obvious the truth will come out?

I would never buy anything from Apple especially after reading bout the gestapo tactics used against gizmodo. Why wouldn't they just say "yea there is a flaw, we will correct it on our dime, we screwed up".

Two things that are very hard to get back. Lost time and lost credibility.

So... was Nokia "evil" when the E71-2 had antenna problems too? Research before saying real foolish stuff. There are other Nokias, Motorolas, Samsung's that all have screwed over the consumer with faulty builds. Ultimately... I'm angry with these companies dropping sub-par handsets on us.

Meh. We, the consumer is the one screwed and Apple is just one of many in a long line of companies that like screwing their customers.

I am think about this...Do apple do any proper testing of the device? or is it just the sw :) would be pretty easy to find! Strange...
