Excellent News!

Looking forward to trying the new OS. Although with all the extra's installed on maemo and the overclock I think it'll have a lot to compete with. Maemo itself is an excellent OS.

Its always the way you get your device set up exactly as you want it and they release something to temp you LOL.

Interesting to see Meego comments, might even make the N900 usable, assuming lessons learned with Maemo are not taken forward into Meego.

Even people who hate the phone and think it is crap want PR1.3 to come out, so at least it might fix some of the bugs that litter the OS, so not sure why anyone would whine about 1.3 finally coming out?

But it ain't here yet, no one knows exaxctly what is going to be in it till it is here and what lies beyond it? Could be utter pants that corrupts everyones phone afterall, it coule be a hack to fix the hack that the community created to stop them grabbing information from your phone in 1.2. It could be a 'lip service' patch with no real substance, just to keep the capitulating and swooning fanbois happy. At least Nokia can then say "Well you had a 1.3"

I am SO surprised.

I looked for my comment about predictions for PR 1.3 because it was so insanely negative that it would show you guys just how surprised I am.

This is excellent news! Albeit I'm still a bit skeptical if PR 1.3 is in fact "close" ... ;)

i am about to cry. 1.3 is comming, excellent.
But what other wonders it is going to bring? ovi maps with navigation, voice dial, flash 10.x . lets wait before we celebrate?
