Re: My N9 concept design
It looks nice but I'd prefer a straight slideout kb like N900's.

Re: My N9 concept design
Next step: Take it to the Openpandora guys to make it a reality with open hardware.

Re: My N9 concept design
Lol .... The Open Pandora project started about a year earlier than the big corporations' smartphones (n900/milestone/nexus one).
And the device hasn't even finished the first 900 orders (as of now), so yeah, they are quite slow (like glacial). But something like this is still feasable for 2012: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...027#post951027 Anyone care to render that in 3d? |
Re: My N9 concept design
Heh. The thing is I do want a Pandora. Or GPH Caanoo. Something along those lines.
I would prefer a Pandora but you never know if after you pays your money, whether you will recieve it or not. |

I really liked your game pad and detachable add-ons idea, but I thought I'd crank it up a notch... or two... :) I hope you don't mind :D So... I call the monster we created 2ch'd (touched) as it "is" a full touch device from top to bottom and side to side. Push to slide fully customizable pad (keyboard/joypad/media controls). Push to open connectivity interface. Alternative touch controls on both sides (eg. music player) and this is it... |
Re: My N9 concept design

I was going to update that concept, I had some tweeks to add to it but I recently flew away for a week, but am back now. But I've had a lot of work gathered for me during that week, so I was unable to finish and submit. Hopefully I'll get enough time to do it this week (I pretty much finished those extra work) and you can take a glance at it. Oh, and it looks real nice, I wish I could make a 3D render :( |
