Re: N900 AudioBooster

Sorry if this was answered but does this thing improves phone call/skype audio quality as well?

It improves phone call quality, and should affect Skype call quality as well.

Hello,

This is great, qualitiy is very good. But volume is increased too much. I can't set it to low. Could you please correct this or create a second script with low volume?

Kind regards

greg

volume level is too much for what aspect (e.g. headset, phone call) or application exactly?

I think for the headphones... i think the same, the volume level should be lowered a little...

Also just to clarify, the audiobooster stays even after restart of the phone, correct?

Because it's too loud even with smallest volume (set via volume slider). If one sets it one more step lower, then it's muted :P

I love the boost of quality, but can't really use the patch since I can't listen music when going to sleep. It's too loud. What value should I adjust and from which .parameters -file?

This was for the headphones only. BT HF and Speakers and FM Transmitter are great.

Thanks!

i have the porblem, that after a reboot, the sound adjustment doesn't work like it should!

the output volume is at maximum and the output control is at minimum :-/

Agreed... already in the orgiinal, the lowest volume step on the N900 (for earphones) is too loud... it's almost as if the volume on the N900 is linear instead of logarithmic (we hear logarithmically, not linearilly, we perceive a percentual increase of the actual sound pressure - for example 50% more sound pressure - as the same kind of "step size"... this is why sound is measured in dB - an inherently logarithmic scale)
