Re: Solved!!!!!A fatal error About EMMC Flashing
Yesterday by mistake I dropped my N900 on the floor. The phone has started to shutdown and restart automatically, until a green sign appeared and said: "Malfunction, shutdown device on 10s". I decided to totally switch off and turn on again. Searching by google I found a post on Yahoo! Answers that tell me to flash the device. I did, as I always did and the result was an error like the one posted by pursueky.
That is: Code:
c: \ Program Files \ maemo \ flasher-3.5> flasher-3.5.exe-1.bin F-f-R I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit. I have tried various Nokia cables, multiple PCs, I followed the guide to flash the N900 using a 64-bit OS, but nothing, I can not get it to work. I've tried to flash using a 32-bit OS. I disconnected the battery for 2 days, but still nothing. What can I do?! I'm in total panic. Can you help me? Thanks a lot! |
Re: Solved!!!!!A fatal error About EMMC Flashing
Sorry to tell you but it looks like hardware damage not software so your only course of action would be to claim a new one from your accident insurance.
Re-flashing will no way solve this probem. |

Can I help myself with the N900 warranty?!

Re: Solved!!!!!A fatal error About EMMC Flashing
Unlikely but you can try, if it has no physical damage you might get away with it but never tell them you dropped it !.
