Mine works and is tested. (Just didn't test if you see the icon after reboot, since I don't wanna reboot now...)

With repos, you gotta register at garage.maemo.org, submit your source package to the autobuilder, check if it builds etc.

You're on your own man, I prefer not to mess with the repos... Good luck.

Don't think so...

I've seen it before and it's never worked, in fact, tried now and it ain't workin'...

I usually do it with:
killall hildon-desktop

edit: it's not working for this one, not sure why. after reboot still no icon.

I've fixed the deb and reupload it. Redownload it and reinstall again.

Icon working now and updated right away.

Where should i save the .deb file in order to get "dpkg -i reverstris-lite_0.1_armel.deb" working? I got error msg when i tried it
