You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libarchive1: Depends: liblzma1 (>= 4.999.9beta+20091116-1maemo1) but it is not going to be installed
libwrt-api1: Depends: libwrt1 (= 1.1.0) but it is not going to be installed
qtwrt-experimental: Depends: wrt-experimental (= 1.1tp-3) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: wrt-api-experimental (= 1.1tp-3) but it is not going to be installed
wrt: Depends: libwrt1 (= 1.1.0) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

Re: partially or broken pakages (dpkg: parse error, in file `/var/lib/.....)

I had a similar issue.

The only way I resolved it was via:

root

mc

I then navigated to

/opt/var/cache/apt

and deleted all .bin files

I then navigated to

/opt/var/lib/apt/lists

and deleted the files in there. (not folders)

Then close MC.

in root

apt-get -f install

then reboot

then into xterm again and root

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

Hope that helps.

mc is midnight commander. If you haven't got it, install it. Then because you need root privileges you have to run it in X Terminal.

Every file that has a .bin extension in that folder I mentioned.

Or just run (in X Terminal):
Code:

sudo gainroot
rm /opt/var/cache/apt/*.bin
rm /opt/var/lib/apt/lists/*

which is much simpler and quicker than messing around with mc.
