Re: [Patch] Unlock the rotation of most stock applications

I tried to install the patch, but it says that the newer is already installed.
And how do I get the lockscreen to rotate again? N9tweak not do it.

You mean Tweak B-1 didn't do the job?

There is Vesuri's MODs in there too Tweak B-7

http://wiki.maemo.org/N9QTweak#Tweak_B:_Landscape_MODs

OT:

If the wiki for Tweak B seems quite bare; I apologize, I just realised it too...Read the PDF for it...I'll update the wiki later today/tomorrow when Schturman releases v9.1...

Re: [Patch] Unlock the rotation of most stock applications

Yes, B-1 doesnt do that any more.
I tryed to find manually all "locked-orientation:"-line and change those, but no help.

These works:
Code:

cd /home/user/MyDocs/
/usr/sbin/incept libmeegotouchcore0_0.25.10-1+0m8_armel.deb
cd /home/user/MyDocs/
dpkg -i meegotouchtheme-landscape_0.1.1-1_all.deb

But I also tryed install patch from N9tweak:
Code:

Using username "root".
root@192.168.11.2's password:

BusyBox v1.20.0.git (MeeGo 3:1.20-0.2+0m8) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

RM696-21-3_PR_001:~# patch -p0 -i /opt/N9QTweak/Vesuri/libmeegotouch-unlockorien
tation.patch
-sh: patch: Operation not permitted
RM696-21-3_PR_001:~#

Re: [Patch] Unlock the rotation of most stock applications

Actually I don't think you need the patch...I tested this quite sometime ago and at that time the modified libmeegotouchcore0 and the landscape theme were sufficient...

Re: [Patch] Unlock the rotation of most stock applications

also maybe try removing the patch and then trying it out again?

Code:

patch -p0 -R < /opt/N9QTweak/Vesuri/libmeegotouch-unlockorientation.patch

E: If i apply B-3, lockscreen turn to landscape but not rotaiting.

That's strange...

So you have the modified libmeegotouchcore0 already incepted right?

You want to try re-installing patch: apt-get install patch --reinstall

Yes, all works, except lockscreen-rotating.

Reinstalled without errors, no help.

Re: [Patch] Unlock the rotation of most stock applications

Isn't lockscreen-rotation not a part of this?

Why not look thru' N9QT script to see what is done to enable lockscreen orientation and then do it manually?

I'll look thru and report...
