I'll add the note about using fastern9 and problem with sounds, thedead1440 mentioned it to me before.

I want to know if anyone is able to use it successfully on the N900?

The issues I have no idea how to fix (and probably can't be fixed) pause while rotating, pause while pressing the power button.

I will try to implement this for the next release:
* Command line parsing to start playing on launch
* Play controls with headset (can't test as I don't have one)
* Initial login and profile support.
* Share current mix url (n9 only)

I'm using it for the N900. :) Thanks!
I got same bugs when it comes to rotation (the pause) and it becomes unresponsive to touch after being minimized but it still plays the song. Tapping repeatedly while it's unresponsive usually leads to crashes so I just wait it out.
I would like to give a better bug report but I don't know how to launch this from xterm and generate logs.

I run CSSU testing on N900 and recently upgraded libs from CSSU devel. To install it I still needed to apt-get -f install which got me libqtm11 installed, after which I was able to install ocho.

Portrait mode is misaligned when autorotate is enabled - when disabled, it's fine.
it crashes when I minimize it and do stuff in MicroB.
Would be awesome to have AVRCP bluetooth with bt headset.

It seems like I am not able to have ocho running on my N900.
I installed manually the libqtm11 package but every time I launch the program all I get is a black screen.
I noticed the same behaviour with other QML programs, like modrana QML for example (plain non-QML modrana is working though).
I remember another guy some pages ago on this thread having the same problem. Do you have any idea about the reason? My N900 is updated with latest firmware and CSSU stable.
I would love to be able to listen to 8tracks on my mobile...

@wokawoka please run it from xterm and share the output. Make sure you have qt-components-10 installed. I am not sure if CSSU is required but I do have it enabled.

@vetsin it should be in /opt/ochotrack/bin/ochotrack. I've noticed some crashes too, but not sure how to reproduce them (or if I'll be able to fix).

Moore testing with Nokia Essence Bluetooth tells they are working ok with Ocho.

But some interference cant be avoided....

Updated and submitted to Nokia, let's see how long it takes to get it approved.

Changes:

• Command line parsing to start playing on launch (ochotrack --random tag1,tag2)
• Play controls with headset buttons (n9 only)
• Share current mix url (n9 only)
• History of mixes

If have sound problem with fastern9, try below method help or not.

Edit /opt/FasterN9/config/syspart.conf, in classify desktop, try add a new line: /opt/ochotrack/bin/ochotrack
