Hi all, hey Cepi thanks for your work here.
Quick question Is there a way to maintain the same account in whatsup (sailfish) and whatsapp, because I'm testing it on my Nexus 5 and I'm not ready to do the full commitment to sailfish since it is an alpha.

If it is the same device just only a different OS would they notice this?

And I would not be using it at the same time since I have to turn of the device then change the OS and then turn on whatsapp/whatsup.

I don't know how whatsapp works that is why I'm asking :P

Could someone pls post steps to copy the old config files from Harmattan to Sailfish.I would really love to keep my contacts and conversations as it is.Much Appreciated.

contacts will be there, conversations will be lost. i don't think there is any chance of porting them

why not? i don't think cepi is using different storage in harmattan and jolla.

afaik he had to build at least some stuff from scratch... it's unlikely that he used the exact same structure as before...
or did you give him such a good backup, that this was not necessary?

he developed harmattan and jolla applications from the same scratch. if you think it's cool to support two same applications with different structure - you crazy.
