OTOH, this picture is definitely not a landscape. It may be in a landscape orientation but it is what artists would probably call a still life. It may be a bit confusing but the term "portrait" and "landscape" when referring to the picture orientation come originally from the most common orientation of pictures containing that kind of genre. Thus, portraits are usually painter vertical and landscapes horizontal, but it does not have to be the case always. |

Yeah the camera on the Z ultra is really sub standard. It's an amazing region round there, Bond Island is a tourist trap, constant stream of boats dropping people off, but is a cool place to visit and see in person

I totally forgot to write that my entry was shot on an N9 using Camera+. Don't know if that will change anyone's mind one way or another about it. And it's black.
Also from a surfeit, a plethora, a plenitude of great photos, I vote for 14, ste-phan. I think I like the combination of the cliff, the light, and the unusual but appropriate choice of "portrait" format. Just makes you want to walk out there and see what the view is like from the end of that outcrop. What a great month for pics! |
