Re: Kali Linux Rolling Edition armhf for Nokia N900
This image is much stable then the previous one. I do face the same shutdown errors that has been meantioned before. My soltution to this is, reboot a couple of times and wait for 5 min. until the system stays up after that time of periode and continue.

Ahhhh... so jelly... what you are saying....hinting at ..is that it appears the shutdowns are quite likely linked to the system not being fully "awake" and prepared for usage when people start putting demands upon the newly (and still warming up) system...
The reported shutdowns were the prime reason I have balked at installation... |

EDIT: I just notice that attaching power to the device after the login proces prevents the system from shutting down immidiately. The leds turns on orange. After dettaching the power cable this system shutdown within 5 minutes. Now I need to know for how long the system stays up with a power cable attached to the device. |
Re: Kali Linux Rolling Edition armhf for Nokia N900
Isn't better to have a progress bar to tell the user that the system is ready to use?
Because for now we cross our fingers hoping that all went well.. Thanks a lot for your efforts, BJ |

Can you please post a screenshot of your devices listed in the xfce power manager menu? You can keep the system up by plugging a wall charger/power bank to the device after user or root login. |
