The one that is on the website there that you can add on. Sorry, I tend to round #s. The 49.99 plan is the $50 plan I was mentioning. But it seems you can't buy it seperate from the device without going through their own official website which quotes $78 for other devices. So I was wondering if that's Amazon unique sale.

Otherwise we would all just buy the n900 from Newegg + the $50 warranty from SquareTrade via Amazon.

Because Amazon doesn't charge unless they are planning to ship your order. I've done enough business with them to know that I've never had them charge my card and not been shipped the item within 24hours.

Hmmm just looked at my bank, I got two pending charge from amazon both are only $1, maybe just because I just started my prime membership. Whoever get charge by Amazon, did they charge the full amount?

Cause the only other way it seems is to do it through their website and then you pay $76.80 which -$50 is = 26.80

And considering Newegg only saves you $23 compared to Amazon.. (I'll have to add Newegg to my list of n900 prices and where to buy). You would pay more if you want the Squaretrade warranty with the n900.

http://www.amazon.com/year-Electroni...&sr=1-15-spell

That's just the normal price of the square trade warranty, I assume you can buy it separate because it has its own section, and I just purchased one separate of my N900...thought I already ordered the N900

I never saw any charge for a Amazon prime membership, and I've already got things through it from when I started it with my N900 preorder.

Yes, and it states on Amazon that they don't charge your card till the item ships. Usually what Amazon will do is charge a $1 to make sure funds are in the account, then they'll process your order, charge the full amount, and ship it out to you.

If they ship tomorrow ( errr...today because it's 1:50AM ) I'll have it Thursday morning because I have the $3.99 overnight shipping with the free 3 month trial of Amazon Prime.

yesterday the german shop -alternate- told me that the n900 will be available on 22th of october.
After that i asked them why "december" is shown at there hompage

a few minutes ago they answered that they get the devices in december and don't know an exactly date
(two different dates from the same person)

I just called Nokia Online UK to enquire about the likely shipment dates for the N900 which I preordered on 3rd September, and was told that early November is the time-frame.

nokia answered my mail from yesterday...
just a "copy and paste" of the release date from the german site.

thank you very much for your support!

They have nothing else to tell you :) The support agents don't hand assemble N900s in their spare time you know.

Spend your time to learn about what it takes to actually RELEASE a (semi?) mainstream device..

It's not like Nokia has already got the finished goods last month and letting all of them sit idle in the warehouse.

Its funny to read peoples comments here, and everyday their shipping date gets pushed back one by one. I bet this will continue till end of October :)

Well, I guess that people should use the term dictatorship with care. It’s something that I don’t think it don’t glues well with linux.
By the way, you don’t need fascism to prevent people from pissing on your house.
How would you fell if nokia didn’t respect the work that maemo enthusiasts done here. Probably then you wouldn’t like dictatorship. The problem with this way of acting is that it’s good went you’re the dictator and it’s bad when your mistreated.

If they had more information they wanted to make public why wouldn't they just put it on the website? Why would they wait for people to mail them one-by-one?
