I frequently change my theme. Currently Matrix is my favorite, though I really like nuvofre too, and I'm always keeping an eye out for something with more transparency.

I see you're using xmms2, i tried to get it installed but it seems that there are dependencies missing. Is there any documentation how to get it running? And is there a client for maemo5 ?

Can you find my FM Radio shortcut? :)

(removed icon tile backgrounds by changing /usr/share/themes/beta/images/ApplicationShortcutApplet.png into a transparent tile)

I just google the image I wants, then open it in full screen. Tap "add bookmark" Instead of the address of where the image is hosted from, I change it to whatever site I wants.

try an app named "tweakr".
after install you find it in the preferences at the bottom.
i use "large" as snap-to-grid size. (:
(DON'T set it to "no" because there seems to be a bug!)

there is a file where you can change the value of the grid-size too.
just search maemo.org for "alignment" or something else.

FM Radio 2010.01.19 fresh from SVN with artwork by INdT's Patricia Montenegro of Canola fame. RDS text displays umlauts and other special characters now and there is autoscanning.

May be its just me but from the picture I kinda prefer the old/present artwork. But again that is just me. My biggest wish for the fm radio is for the issue where sound cease playing after the screen as been locked (or after a short period of time) and will not recover sound till restarted. with the process repeating itself over and over again. I really hope the issue is fixed soon, because it is making the app unusable

I'm afraid this is a bug in the OS and would have to be fixed by Nokia. :(
Maybe I will be able to implement some workaround. Maybe.

How about fooling it into thinking it is on the charger? There is a display setting allowing it to stay active when on the charger.

there's already an app which can do this.
it's called "simple brightness applet" and will be accessable via the desktop status-bar. there you can change the brightness of the screen and if the display is always on or has a timeout. ^^

The display should be off, but the audio shouldn't, just like the media player. I think the complication comes when the OS puts the bluetooth/FM chipset on low power state due to idling.
