There was twittered, that the leaked one could damage the N900 irreparably. But many testers didn't recognize problems at all, so the people started to get angry about Nokias update politics...

According to the Chinese forum it has: bug fixes and new Qt libs.

So at best, nothing changes from stuff the community fixed already (See: MohammadAG's hildon-desktop) and at worst your Qt apps don't work just right.

Yep, seems like a good gamble, doesn't it?

I have flashed the firmware onto my N900, not sure how to provide screenshots?

It seems snappier as standard, not sure what else to look for as i'm not a dev/programmer.

for all that flashed with leaked firmware, there is a howto about downgrading leaked pr1.2, i think the procedure should do the job with leaked pr1.3 too - http://meegoportal.com/?p=171

Its starting to sound like the nokia forum! every testing thing is being removed... so what! let people try the firmware! whats the problem? I would love to take the risk. i dont care.

Silenced app has allready caused me more trouble then the whole 1.2 leaked firmware.

You remove links so people wont test dangerous stuff but put wiki's on this website how to overclock the n900 to dangerous frequencies.

You moderators are not to the point! this is ridiculous

Danger isn't the main issue. I respect your right to turn your expensive electronics into paperweights.

The main issue in the case of leaked firmware is that the image contains copyrighted materials, and the copyright holders have not authorized this distribution of those materials. Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted materials is against the rules of this forum.

Unless your willing to personally put up the money to defend that argument in court I don't think that's an argument that will lead to beta builds of PR 1.3 being posted here.

WoW looks like there is a special feature in n900's bootloader. Basically, I lost patience with Over the air update(it fully donloaded, but didn't install yet) and removed the battery, put it back and now it shows me that the software update is installing. oO

Dear all.. Eventhough i already update my Nokia N900 as version 20.2010.36-2 thru PR 1.3 but it seems no different/changes for my N900. Until today, i still failed to signin/login my Yahoo Messanger in Conversation ops. This is happen since i do update my N900 from PR 1.1 to PR 1.2. I also failed to register my Yahoo Mail. What's the problem actually? I thoguht, by update my N900 to the latest version-PR 1.3, everything will resolve and works well.

Please help me guys... T_T
