Basically, a package that provides a string, this string is the client id of "Friends", and is used by Facebook to allow the application.

I cannot redistribute that string in an Open source way, because of potential bad usage. So I put it in a separate package, hidden in a plugin.

gets better all the time... thanks for adding groups... but looks a bit weird if you have long group names... should be seperated oder something like this... maybe also add the group logo in front of it...

EDIT: and maybe fill up the empty bar on top with random groupmembers like facebook do?

Please, can you add "open link" feature? Now there is many post with shared link and i cant open them. This is going to be something big on the N9 and sailfish + others!

Why is it that I cannot view anything on "Me". It shows "Loading" then nothing happens. I have installed all the versions and the only thing I can view are my "Friends", "Albums", "Photos" and now with the latest version, my "Groups"

Cache management is poorly managed, and might take a lot of space. You can remove it by deleting

The folder /home/user/.cache/SfietKonstantin/qfb-mobile/
remove everything in this folders and login again, should solve your problem

I have to post it here. Due to school, I don't have much time to work on it. In the meantime, I decided that it is better to go upstream, and to merge my work with the one going in nemo qml plugins.

https://github.com/SfietKonstantin/nemo-qml-plugins is the working copy.

And when I will finish school, be sure that you will have both Friends for N9 and for Sailfish :)

Your airui installation was screwed; uninstall airui and install it again.

Also you don't read your own error logs before posting? :rolleyes:

Tell me did you try to uninstall it by doing "apt-get purge airui" or going to manage applications and searching for it? If you did where's the output?

Yesterday i downloaded airui from store then it failed to install tried 4-5 times rebooted then again tried 2-3 times it failed.. In app manager i clicked on airui a window pop uped with two options try again and cancel i cancelled it..it disappeared
And today i tried this
Purge airui says air ui not installed so not removed

Ok then install from Store again; the loading policy error you are facing is not related to this app but to airui.

Got an update of friends 0.0.6 but the airui issue isnt solved how can i completely remove airui its not installed but its somewhere in my phone :(

Hello everybody ! After quite a long time of being "dead", I have to announce something. As you know, instead of doing everything on my own, I decided to join an upstream effort (with people from Jolla) to merge some of my work to the so called "Nemo QML plugins".

Right now, we have something that can be used, even if it is still incomplete. Very soon, I will start to rebase the old friends app on top of the plugins, and maybe finally release something again.

Hope to see you soon :)

Since few days ago friends stopped working for me, it stucks on the first page with the rotating circle... Remove and reinstall didn't help, any ideas?

I don't have that kind of problem, but i noticed that whenever i change my profile pic, "friends" still show me the one i used when i installed the app.
Btw, i'm waiting for more function integretions of this awesome app :)

It's great to hear that you're working now with the Jolla guys but I hope you don't forget us, the users of the n9 because some of us don't know if we are going to get our hands in one of these phones (Jolla). And your app is looking really good :D

I Had the same issue so what i did was delete this folders:
/home/user/.config/SfietKonstantin/qfb-mobile.conf
/home/user/.local/share/data/SfietKonstantin/qfb-mobile/
/home/user/.cache/SfietKonstantin/qfb-mobile/

And after that re-open the app and re-login on facebook and now everything is working good.
