Great job on the work coderus! was wondering how the HTML5 audio part. As i have been using the website grooveshark for streaming music again and on my N9 with the html5.grooveshark.com

For the QmlMozBrowser it doesn't render well and the audio seem low bitrated compared to the Snowshoe browser.

Is there any settings i need to apply to make the html5.grooveshark.com work?

Hi, can you add support for bookmarklets? On o.yeswap.com there is many bookmarklets which could be useful ie. Night mode. In opera all I have to do is create a dummy bookmark and paste the javascript code into it, unfortunately this method doesn't work with qmlmozbrowser as it keeps adding http:// before the javascript code.

Wow I should have checked earlier. That's higher than the 399 that linux FF 21 gets. If only it could do flash or if the web transitioned to the new otoy technology.

What causes the browser to open more slowly than the standard Web browser? That would be my biggest problem.

Edit: Also whatever user agent I use I almost always get the desktop site rather than the mobile one. (google, bing, twitter, Facebook ... ext.)

Same problem here, every big newspaper here in Sweden will load the desktop version instead of the mobile one.

Well that could have something to do with the fact that grob is always running on the background and only draws up the UI wen you invoke it :p :p :p

Ok, thanks. And there is no way to do the same with qmlfirefox and disable grob? I'm just assuming here that grob is the default browser rather than a wider system proses which it probably is.

If I go to https://touch.facebook.com the icon on the top left corner doesn't work. A click on that icon should bring up favourites, pages, groups, etc. Is it only at my phone it fails?
Works nice with grob.

It seems to be using a generic FF24/Linux UA string rather than the one given, whether the option is ticked or not.

url loading bar blocks access to the top of the screen, making it impossible to interact with, say, facebook notifications until the full page has loaded.
the url bar is dismissable when the page is finished loading, but not before. {note that the url bar stays loading for 2min on facebook}

some ideas:
1) dont differentiate between the loading state and the non-loading state. it the users wishes to wait for the page to load properly before interacting, they can, if not they just tap empty space like normal.
2) indicate loading at the bottom, where the user can scroll/zoom to get at the things underneath
3) move the url bar to the bottom, where it is less likely to interfere
4) make the loading url bar look very different than the url bar, make it a little more transparent, and let the user tap stuff underneath it. {allow interacting with it only after you bring up the overlay.}

Any chance of implementing a cleaning function within the app?? Otherwise everything else seems flawless

I am very interested to use IPython Notebook with the QmlMozBrowser (on MeeGo Harmattan and Nemo/Sailfish), but it only shows the IPython Dashboard because tapping in "New Notebook" or in an existing notebook doesn't open a new tab/window.

Fennec-QML (using IPCLiteAPI) v0.0.1 worked better : renders MathJax, doesn't zoom in/out automatically like Firefox, perfect use of keyboard (vkb or Bluetooth) so vkb arrows and shift+enter are ok, Bluetooth keyboard with all woking shortcuts. But it is unstable (closes sometimes), has problem scrolling long notebooks (only vertical arrows of Bluetooth keyboard work) and can't select "New Notebook" or "Cell" type.

- install IPython Notebook on Nokia N9/N950, see the topic "IPython (Notebook, QtConsole) 0.13.1 for MeeGo Harmattan";
- on X Terminal, type "ipython notebook --no-browser"
- open the QmlMozBrowser in "http://127.0.0.1:8888/";
- try to tap the "New Notebook" button or to open an existing notebook (see here for examples).

After seting my Harmattan repository, just do a :
# apt-get install ipython-notebook
See installation section of IPython topic for MeeGo Harmattan.

I've tested MeeFox and the same problems happen when using IPython Notebook : can't open new notebooks or open already existing notebooks.

I readed till page 6 now so maybe I repeat what others already said.

-Each time i press space bar in swyp keybord the letters Get Big Like This.
-+ some Other Swype Issues I Can'tDescribe Now.
- It Takes To Long To reach the stop button so it gets useless. Mayer if a page is loaded the stop button should appear somewhere on the screen.
- I need a explanation what the instruct UK thing is
- A way to reset about config changes, so I can experiment with them would be nice.
- clicking in this text box doesn't open the keyboard I need to click in the textbox Of The Tittle to open it and when click in this text box to write.
