Re: Attention all N900 Vodafone users in the UK!
Yeah, I got my VF contract in December with the N900. This is a ****ing joke. I will not stand for this. I will cancel and take them to court if anything. Most people on here are only with VF because they wanted the N900, so they all signed up in December. I checked my contract and I have the 10% clause in it!

Re: Attention all N900 Vodafone users in the UK!
i think as long as the cost of the extra data is less than the amount of revenue they would loose from early cancelation they will not charge you.
It would be interesting to see what would happen to someone who is near to the end of their contract who is abusing the fup! |
Re: Attention all N900 Vodafone users in the UK!
i have it in my terms and conditions as well. i have the terms in the email they sent me. i did it all online, it doesnt state anywhere on my contract that it is 500mb. it only says fair usage policy. i used 750mb this month and never receieved a text.... ive reset counter and will use as normal and see what happens!!

Re: Attention all N900 Vodafone users in the UK!
Well I think they are a bunch of total t***ers
the missing letters are o and s I sent the cancellation email via their webform, and by email to both webrelations@vodafone.co.u and the directors office email This morning I got an email that seems they didnt even bother reading what I sent them Here is their reply Quote:
they also contradicted themselves, they said I have to cancel by email and send the payment to a notticgham address, then contact them by email with 30 days notice once I have paid the "cancellation fees" Yet it says quite plainly on the advice from Vodafone on their webpages the notice is to be sent by LETTER they totally ignored the sections about my bill has gone up and all the rest. I have today sent a copy of the cancellation by special delivery to Vodafone. lets see what happens. Original cancellation email I sent in the next post |
Re: Attention all N900 Vodafone users in the UK!
This is the cancellation email I sent them, which has now gone by hard copy to their Newbury address as per their instructions and sent by special delivery.
