Re: [application] pyRadio (Pandora)
Ok, pyRadio 3.7 is updated and promoted.
Fremantle users please vote for it at the maemo packages page, Addison and other Diablo users keep an eye for pyRadio 3.7 in extras and if there are any more issues let me know. |
Re: [application] pyRadio (Pandora)
Joy!!!!! :D
Hey Saint, does this look right to you? http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/1659/81567436.png I have 48.3 megs left free still. Should I reboot? Anyway, thank you, thank you and I'll keep an eye out for 3.7. :) |
Re: [application] pyRadio (Pandora)
Yes that looks right.. is it playing? Is that 3.6? 3.6 shouldn't get that far...
|
Re: [application] pyRadio (Pandora)
Yeah, it's 3.6.
I edited /opt/pyRadio/libpiano/pandora.py to PROTOCOL_VERSION=31 I thought there was a black background though. Also, I have no custom icon for this either. I thought maybe it was because I was low on memory. After a reboot, same thing but it's now showing 78 megs free. Why am I still holding on to this old piece? *lol* |
Re: [application] pyRadio (Pandora)
^ Also, it seems to only work if I log in incorrectly first before logging in with the right username and password.
Tested this like 5 times and it definitely seems like a pattern here. Anyway, many thanks again. :) |
Re: [application] pyRadio (Pandora)
Just installed your app, and couldn't login, then got your update and everything is working! Thanks for this!

The incorrect login stuff is really strange, it stores the user/pass inside ~/.config/pyradio/config though so make sure that directory is writable by your user. You should only have to successfully login once, after that it should never prompt again if it stored the user/pass properly. |
Re: [application] pyRadio (Pandora)
I think you might be on to something with that.
/~.config folder is d rwx rwx rwx User: root Group: dialout Whatever that means. :) The specific file ~/.config/pyradio/config though is user/users. I just know that I definitely have to try and log in stupid at least once before getting it to recognize my account. This happens every single time with no exceptions. Is there any .png file or something I can replace to give it a black background? I looked but couldn't find anything. After all, black is the new white now days! :D Lastly, the only way to change the volume seems to be opening Mediaplayer. This works great, but once I close Mediaplayer I lose all sound and have to close Pyradio down and start over again. So the only way it seems to work perfect is by running this alongside Mediaplayer. I hope that makes sense to you. Thanks! |
Re: [application] pyRadio (Pandora)
Oh poops.
Sorry, sorry. I'm telling this to you all wrong. Yeah, it does long me in, no problems there, I just don't have any stations. Not by adding them, not by looking for them, none stored, nothing. My stations only show up after logging in incorrectly at least one time, after that, everything is a dream. Sorry for the confusion. |
Re: [application] pyRadio (Pandora)
Can you run it from the terminal:
Code:
/opt/pyRadio/pyradio.py Changing the background to black isn't as easy as changing the png. I messed with the background colors once because I agree, black looks better, but it caused readability issues with the popup boxes and prompts and stuff so I keep the 'system' default. I don't set the background color at all and on Diablo it sets it to white and on Fremantle it sets it to black. This way the popups and text are all readable. |
