You need to make sure the keyboard is out when you reboot so the Multiboot menu will appear.
Very good feature especially when you mess up some code :)

I often have to disconnect wireless (on the Nitdroid menu) and reconnect it in order to get wireless to work normally. Then a few minutes later I have to do the same thing.

No. Dont have that problem.

Wireless goes off when screen goes off. Do the following should fix your wireless problem:

Settings>Display>Screen timeout>set a number bigger than 2 min. I use 10 minutes. Sure, it is a balance between screen goes off vs battery life, or you just have to keep turn off screen when NOT in use, not much of a hassel

Wireless & Networks>Wi-Fi settings>menu button (the lock switch next to the earplug outlet)>Advanced>Wi-Fi sleep policy>Never or pick anything you like...

My wifi stays on without problem.

and please put a wifi on-off switch on your desktop is also come handy

on any desktop you choose, I pick the desktop 4, the last one, hold onto it for a few second,

Widgets>scroll down till see Power Control and add it. Tada, you now have a wifi switch on your desktop.

since the n900 is not a native android device, is it normal that i don't see some apps that a legit android device can see in the market? i typed "skyfire" on my brother's galaxy spica and it appeared while i can't on my n900. some of his apps don't appear on mine...

i installed astro something w/c is a file explorer but i can see it on my list of programs. any ideas why?

If you read the FAQs on the Nitdroid wiki you would learn the answer. ;)
