okay so for those who want to use cleven with KP50 do the following(until Saturn updates his app) :

1)download the bleeding-edge wifi driver build for kernel-power v50 from here
2)Extract the files to /opt/cleven/compat-wireless/

bam! you are done! :D
Note that cleven will still show you the warning about not compatible kernel.Just ignore that message.
Hope this helps...

because MyDocs folder is FAT which does not support ownership flags.

Or he could just refrain from opening up a root shell, which was ALSO posted previously.

Hi

Thanks for posting. I am on KP50 and I do want to run cleven having used it on previous versions of KP.

I've follows the instructions and several versions of extracting the drivers but I am still getting the error messages and it won't scan for networks..

I am sure I have missed something basic

here is what I did

downloaded to my docs - extracted - same problem kernal no scan etc

then copied the tar to root extracted and moved files to opt/cleven/compat-wireless/ as per different post

still no joy. reread tons various posts

uninstalled and reinstalled cleven.
Installed Cleven experimental incase of other options.

what else should I have done? Did I miss something?

Cheers
