Unfortunately, to me this is a little of the 'boy who cried wolf', my brain won't let me believe a thing they say! :D

Credit card refund might be a little tricky, but you can't tell me the paypal ones are difficult, I just don't believe it! :p

*Update* We have just recently shipped a batch of 77 devices to backers who earlier confirmed their order in the Jolla Shop.
Mine is still 'Paid' in shop.jolla.com and no DHL guys have been texting or calling to me :( Two tablets, 64gb for me and 32gb for my brother. IGG #18 and #448 Maybe DHL guy just wants to surprise me:)

My tablet was delivered yesterday :)
I did not receive any info from DHL and the status in Jolla Shop is still on "In Picking"...

It's exciting to hear about all of these deliveries. From what I've heard everyone's really impressed with the hardware and OS. It's a crying shame that there aren't more of these going out. That funding delay really killed a beautiful product before it got a chance to realize its true potential. Reminds me of the N9 in a lot of ways.

Yes, the hardware is really good in my opinion.
The Jolla Phone feels really slow compared to the tablet (e.g. launching apps).

Just the software needs some polishing - a little bit stuttering and flickering here & there, but that's "whining on a high level" (do you even say this in english??? :D )

It's really a shame that this project went into this direction :(

I get the whole PayPal thing. It has been well over a year. Credit cards could have been expired or closed down. A uniform method of refund makes sense.

Making us wait longer however, does not. They should have made personal contact by now.

Received mine yesterday. TaoBao -> YoyBuy -> EMS (returned) / DHL (worked, shipping in 6 days from China to Brazil).
Updated Sailfish OS 2 times, everything working 100%.

Reminds you of the N9?

I'm not wanting to knock the tablet but it's no N9.

The N9 set Nokia's design direction for years and was a beautiful piece of original design that won awards when all phones were tending to look the same. IMHO it's up there with the original iMac as a piece of design.

Sticking 'Jolla' on the back of an Aigo tablet isn't.

me too except China -> UK - I also order over the Chinese New year, and was informed all the way about the progress.

I think the 100% is a little optimistic <g> No USB to go

But it is a beautiful device, screen is amazing.. in fact it would be a lot easier if it was a pile of poo, as it is it has soooo much potential, most of it will never be realised.

Im no programmer but I have installed the SDK on my Linux Desktop, thinking in some crazy way I might try and get some code running. (midnight commander) .... dreams
