I tried this application on the N900 for the first time last night and it seemed to work well on two Debian Linux systems I tried it on. Thanks for the great application. It should be very useful for my mythtv systems!

One question: I noticed a post last year saying that alt, tab, and one or two other keys would be added. alt works, but I don't see how to send a tab. Is there a tab key on the virtual keyboard?

Also, what is the outlook of getting the physical keyboard working on the N900?

physical keyboard werks fine for me..... nearly.

just press power button to bring up menu gthen touch screen behind it to get rid of it.

the hardware keyboard should then work......
well it does for me.

well my PS3 sees my N900 but controllers don t work .. do i need something else to install .. Downloaded Bluemaemo from the Dowloads tab on top. New to this . Let me know what i am doing wrong ... thanx

OK. Thanks for pointing that out the workaround to get the hardware keyboard going. I may have missed the significance of some earlier posts.

But how would I send alt-tab? I don't see tab on the on-screen keyboard or the N900 hardware keyboard.

The tab key is not supported yet.

hey quick question i have an archos 5 and nokia n900, my archos had bluetooth wud it be possible to control the archos media player on this bluemaemo app

If the Archos supports bluetooth keyboards using the HID protocol, should be possible.

Hey all .. I just wanted to say that I'm loving using BlueMaemo as a Media Player controlling device .. Keep up the good work VDVsx :)

Also, is it possible to insert some special button sequences (e.g. CTRL + Right .. for forwarding in Media Player Classic) .. ?
