Thanks! That did the trick! :) And thank you for the great app - it needs a Widget!

Hmm, works fine here, latest from Extras-Devel:Facebrick 0.4, libqfacebook 0.1.1-5 oficial PR 1.2

Since the app doesn't have many options try to Sync/Logout/Login first and try again ?

I have same problem. If I send short update without scandinavian characters it works fine.

Re: My Facebook client for the n900

OK, I had this working on PR1.1, I flashed to 1.2 and didn't backup the apps as I wanted a nice fresh start. When I installed facebrick I had the issue mentioned before with it crashing out before getting to the UI because of the libqfacebook issue. I used the fixes mentioned (remove, update, reinstall and apt-get update) now it starts and shows me the update box but crashes out with a segmentaion fault. Any ideas? I checked the libqfacebook version and Its version 0.1.1-5 (although it does also list all the previous versions). I could post the output when running from terminal if you like but it is huge!

Ensure you have gdb installed, then open a terminal, and run these commands:
gdb facebrick
r

It should start up. Crash it however you need to, then your terminal should be back at a prompt. Run:
bt full

Give me that output please. :)

Ugh. That's not very helpful.

Are you doing anything specific to cause a crash?

Re: My Facebook client for the n900

Nope, nothing else is running, launching facebrick normally. I get the update box and wait and then it just crashes back to desktop. When run from terminal it seems to be downloading status updates then gets the segmentation fault and crashes out!
