For me the E-mail widget just causes the desktop to become really sluggish and does not display any messages even though account is set up. Does it just display messages that have just been recieved ie not already read?

This is exactly like N900 situation in my country. We have grey import units of N900, but official/authorised Nokia store in my country have no single information about the phone, some staff didn't even know what is N900! What a shame... people keep asking and calling up asking about the N900 but none of them have any information about the phone.
What's the point of being official/authorised or supporting authorised/official/original when the treatment is "no information" when the others can get faster information and latest updates?
The shame is not Nokia's. Leaks are not official.
