Nokia share price, Nokia's financials, market analysts and things that are usually used to measure business seem to all agree that it's bad business. But sure lets be less negative if it upsets you. http://images.paraorkut.com/img/pics...y_dog-7158.jpg |

Re: Let's talk Nokia stock!
I have read some interesting comments here
http://communities-dominate.blogs.co...ge/4/#comments The different post about how Apple and Nokia handle big transition are dramatically true. I could't agree more to the comment from "MIP": "... Now whether that is because Elop is obliged by contract to sacrifice the N9 despite the rave reviews it has received, or if he is doing it simply by choice, is a moot point if the end result is the same: Nokia, under Elop, is currently not allowed to maximize its profits. And THAT is a reason itself to question his postition as a CEO." |

Nothing wrong with open source, but it is not the right method to make a competitive end user OS, not without "corporate disciplined" teams. The MeeGo philosophy where 1.2 still is a pre alpha release, just isn't good enough. The N9 is cool and will be purchased, not because of Linux, but because of Swipe (not open source) and the complete out of the box experience. "No" N9 for the US, UK etc is an unfortunate result of all the errors done in previous years. |
