@gerbick what pattern are you trying to confirm? Blue sticker for Finland, white for China?

That and if a dealer is listed, does that mean that it's also has some form of branding.

My 16gb Black Chinese N9 has no dealer listed, no marking with a white label. I've yet to open the one from Dubai - although three others have and no marking to their knowledge... but none of theirs have a dealer listed. Mine does - it was sourced differently - it's a blue label, made in Finland and actually has a dealer listed.

Has anyone tried (with success) this merchant mentioned earlier in the thread?

http://www.electron-world.com/store/...at=1103&page=1

Just curious, their price is pretty reasonable, but coming from Australia (edit New Zealand) the shipping might be crazy.

Just a note about the WiFi Hotspot that comes included on the phone. It works perfectly with the N950 here in Canada, so it might be something weird with the N9's hardware? Or maybe blocked by your data provider?

And I'm still hoping gerbick can get me a better price than dcastrog... I have an N950, so I'm not desperate, but... I'm a little impatient... ;)

Maybe qole waiting for the white N9. Actually send direct is cheaper - USD 765, to US, not including paypal fees & customs tax. To Canada, slightly more, around USD 785.

As I've said before I want a cyan 16GB N9 in western Canada for less than $700 after shipping, taxes, etc.

Almost there. I found Magenta and Black this week for a real decent price. Cyan is the new one that's eluding me - right alongside 64gb versions.

For all... Mobilecity is selling via Amazon.com now...

found n9 64gb for 550 usd + 80 usd shipping, but the price is very low, i'm not sure if i should buy it, as it sounds like scam. they accept paypal, so would it be worth it a try, as i can get money back from paypal if it's scam?

Paypal disputes can go on for a rather long time. I'm not a fan of going that route sometimes.

Do they have a visible profile or reseller account?
