can someone start porting stardict to sailfish, i remember there is good stardict for maemo like mstartdict.

There is already Sidudict for Sailfish - the same as Stardict, just find it in store.

I don't own a jolla yet, great to hear there is one for sailfish. Can you show me some screen shot of sinudict because I cannt find it using google.

The most important application for me is a decent implementation of MMS.

In the n900 we have a third party app for MMS called fMMS. It has so many problems that I can't even bother to use it anymore:
  • Written in python, too slow compared to native apps
  • Its not integrated with Maemo's message system
  • Doesn't receive/send messages! It just stops working
  • Its designed to "send a picture" and "receive a picture". That, and that only.
  • No support for emoji

In Japan everybody uses MMS, not for sending pictures, but as a replacement for SMS. Therefore, with a less than perfect implementation of MMS, this would be useless in Japan.

Any word on the MMS implementation in Sailfish? :confused:

there is no native voip app for sailfish, please do sth about it.
