Maybe I will get mine on my birthday after all :) (but I'd rather have it early)

Seriously, how frustrating is this? if it weren't for the fact that there ARE no other phones out there that I want right now- I would cancel the ****king thing and get something else.... but I guess Nokia know that.
I am disgusted with Nokia's customer relations.

I think that people need to stop obsessing over Peter. It's not healthy, and it won't be helping him do his job at all. He's just a person, after all.

Just kick back, relax, and wait for the 19th now, people.

Did you all REALLY believe a sales rep? They are about as distanced from logistics as you can get. We need a Nokia logisitics
person or product marketing person. All others are probably going to be bunk with information.

Additionally likely, because they simply don't know. People on the technical end of things aren't likely to have the first clue when something is going to be launched - that's ultimately down to marketing and sales.

omg what a ********,its like would you trust a politician if he says i will correct things and fix the poor and the unemployed and peace and love to all...trust me when 19th comes they say that it will be week50 and shipping starts...if they dont get it to stores before xmas i will buy 500-700e phone someone else than nokia:mad:

Also perhaps telegraphing then- that there are still issues, so they do not know either.

And what if i tell you that Nokia Sweden have already had their staff training? They confirmed that on the phone today.
So that does not mean that the release date is on the 17th, it COULD mean that release is getting close. Nothing else.

It is told that they - as we already know - will not release the N900 due to problems and there is a possible 2 week delay ... so it's most likely not the 17th

I will. If they doesn't guaranty me a release date after delaying again, then thats it for me. Just to much unprofessional of nokia, and to much disrespect aswell. And as you can see, we have heard nothing from Peter nor Nokia yet.
Thats why you see record breaks on maemo. I really, really wonder, what the HELL is nokia thinking by ignoring all of us.
