edit. + 7.32% right now :)

every time I edit it goes up.. :)

It goes up just before every earnings release. $3 seems to be the restrictive ceiling on the stock.

Don't put too much faith in no profit warning being good news. A profit warning is only issued to soften the blow to investor analysts. The majority of investor analysts (from what I can see, 17 out of 18) have a neutral to pessamistic view on NOK stock so there's no need to soften the blow. There'll be some good news with the Asha line and money generated from sales of assets, on the other side possibly a lot of cash burn and poor performance from the Windows Phone range.

tStock going up a little bit and people here are stupid enought to think "Nokia is back" ROTFL

Give me a GOOD reason buying stocks in Nokia atm. There is NO sign Nokia will come back. Just some trolls here and there who is naive players. Its like playing those stupid pokergames where people actually think they will win alot of cash...

When the signs are there (like say impressive sales of new Lumias), the stock will already be high and it will be too late to buy. In the end, the stock market is just another form of gambling. For example, take AAPL, it's like 630 USD a piece right now. It could go over 1,000 in a year, but likewise, it can easily lose over 50% of value..

I guess the best "reason" is that at this low price, the monthly variations equals a rather high variation in percentage. If you know how to sell before it's too late, you should be able to, i dunno, grab 10-15% in a month? At a considerable risk, I might add. But before Nokia is over for good, at least it will bounce once more.

I don't see nokia succeeding with the new lumia range.

You can spot a bestseller, and none of the new phones is one. What I am especially disappointed with, its the lack of different designs. The plastic monoblock is allright for one model, but what about an E71-like design with metals? The E71 for me is still the peak of nokia design, the n9 is stylish but lacks the class, robustness and details of an E71.

Weight! Weight is an issue for many people, even the iphone is now at 116 grams.

What about a stylish slider with keyboard? Obviously not an option with an OS that lacks landscape mode.

Just a little rant :D

...it has landscape mode, doesn't it? No? Really? In the 8th iteration of the OS?

Just a reminder... this is a company that sold their own HQ to start renting it. Isn't that the sort of thing a teetering business would do just before collapsing in on itself, turning into a legal entity like a holdings company?
