Wait... 2048 overflow the counter so it'll be zero again, so we must stop at 2047, but then as long as post zero does not exist, we'll never have 2048 post, so pr1.2 will not be released ever!

I think we should be getting 1.2 firmware at Monday or at least the monday 3 may according to the release of hong kong N900... or Nokia just is mad with us about making this post to 2000 and the delay the firmware for the rest of the world???

It's not going to be released AT the press conference.

It's either going to be sooner or later.

Probably later since they will want to showcase new technologies like to-PC-videocall and want to make it a surprise for the audience.

Probably 2-3 days after the conference, that's my bet.

It should be on the same day or like the day after the conference as it said in an article somewhere that the hong kong versions will be on sale immediately after it with pr1.2 already installed.

IDK though, not keeping my hopes high.

I totally agreed too. While the press conference is being held, the stock in store will be fully available and ready for sale after the conference is ended or during the conference. Why do I think this way?
Because Nokia wants to make people hooked at the conference and during the conference and stock may be limited therefore people who is impressed by it will instantaneously calling up someone to go and pick one up immediately while the conference is still in progress.

I think this is the idea. And they should have PR1.2 released a day or Two before the PR1.2 device is released. Why? Because they want people to testing the firmware with the new software in the repository.

That is just me.. Let just hope i'm totally wrong on this :D

Lets see... There is a stock of phones wirh pr1.2 pre-installed, so NOW pr1.2 is finished... and we are waiting because Nokis want some kind of "amazing presentation"...
I payed my n900 in early december... still waiting for bugfixes only because their marketing issues... I must be patient, yeah, they want more money, and then my phone will start to work as they advertised.
Yes, Nokia chairmans are very very smart... or not.

1st on 29 of April the n900 Hong Kong edition will come out
2nd on 30 of April the pr 1.2 will come out for the rest of the world
3rd on 1 of May Meego 1 release

seems Nokia want to show the world that they can make a big step

What's next? Assaulting the nokia factories because the stock piles up long before it's delivered to shops?

At least unlike other "leaked" products that are to be released in 4 months we get our devices and updates as soon as they become available.

IMHO a week is better than 3-4 months :cool:

STable ,fast,and they have 50,000 app mark...
and i am still awaiting for a stable version of mameo 5 since i have payed for this devise (January)
