But I just did some small changes and desktop restarted within a reasonable time. Doing other changes before, I waited for hours and nothing happened (not really but sitting in front of the device and watching it doing nothing feels like this).

Still, technically it does same things even you don't change anything. However, the hildon-desktop and hildon-home are sometimes tricky and won't start in reasonable time and it's all about the positions of moon and stars as far as I have seen. But not once they have failed to start on my device, even I run the customizer several times a day while testing it.

I did a few test reboots and apparently it does work when I don't change anything. It works very different to the reboot button from switch off menu (vibro+white notification light then black screen then white notification then backlit nokia logo, handshake then good to go). Indeed it did work (backlit nokia logo+nolight+novibro, black screen, nokia logo with no backlight, black screen, good to go)

If I change font size from +3 to +2: backlit nokia logo+nolight+novibro, black screen, nokia logo with no backlight, black screen, nokia logo with no backlight, black screen

Im using kernel 2.6.28.10power42

oooh pretty :D nice work, as your next post suggests i think i ticked save as new every time, ill try it again without that using the method you suggest, nice work :D

EDIT: yep, not ticking 'save as new' now and it suddenly works, time to play :D thanks for the help

hi, having trouble importing fonts, imported two fonts at first and worked fine, but now every time i import a font, it dosnt appear in my fonts list although i still get the message "import complete, restart theme customizer to use new fonts".

any help?

so..... did u restart???not the customizer and to be sure do a reboot to and see if they appear.

just love this app and love that you can make the icon smaller.
but i have a question when i am going into the theme customiser from setting it does not start. Does it now needs PR 1.3 to work properly and if can deinstall and install it again.
Pls help i am missing on all the benefits of this app

When I open TC the settings window becomes unresponsive. It's really a minor thing not even annoying. Just put it here because you seem to use this thread as a bug tracker... :)

Pls help when select theme customiser from the settings it does not start, i have PR 1.2 and Plastic theme installed

Pls help why am i not able to use TC and am not able to update even to the new version

Does the TC require PR 1.3 or some other files conflicting with it

It requires PR1.3 and Qt 4.7.
