True, I'm not beeing any wiser when reading the answer from jolla above. I wonder who is behind this jolla twitter account.

Let's ask them again next week. They might know more then. Atleast Slush seems to offer the option now... :)

EDIT: JALYST, how is your idea for a jolla thread coming along?

Will they run Sailfish from a SDK or on an actual demo device?

When do you mean? The 21st?

We don't know, might be images, movies, emulator, prototype device, release product or even n9. Let's see what they have planned for us.

Jollatides speculation 1.0

What do you prefer... Home screen configuration like maemo, or N9's three screens system. Why not mix them together.

A really hope for somthing really strange, like a disk formed phone.&g

As a follow-up to this & this, I've now finally started a dedicated thread with the sole purpose of establishing a organised dialogue will Sailfish/Jolla.
Everyone who's grown tired of the misdirection of this thread in recent wks, I encourage you to provide useful/constructive feedback in this new one.

The first who goes offtopic/troll in that other thread(lol, it already happend) has to do a enter the Jolla stage unannounced during the Jolla presentation in nothing but TMO underwear and hand over the list from us.

That's the main reason why I want a live stream ;)

It's happened a few times already but thus far users are being proactive in reporting them, & the mods are obliging in removing them.

That's not good at all. How do we know who will be our winner and handing jolla the questions?

I really hope Sailfish is what Maemo 6 could've/should've been.

Great news. Jolla just confirmed on twitter that they will stream online. Only one more question:

1.live stream in real time.
X. Semi live stream(delayed)
2. Cut and past version a few hours later.

That is great news indeed, I think it will be live or even if it isn't I don't care as long as I get to see what they shown

It's not like you can buy stuff from china and get it delivered to anywhere in the world

That's not the problem. The problem: every app will be in Chinese using Chinese letters. No Google, only Baidu, no facebook etc etc.

I VERY VERY VERY SUPER highly doubt that SDK and APPS and PHONE will only come in Chinese, i am quite sure all 3 things will be multilingual

ppl who care about free software on their phones wouldn't use facebook anyway.

Re: JollaMobile : Jolla continues Nokia's excellent work on #MeeGo based smartphones

That might be true. But a mobile device manufacturer will lose a Hugh user base without decent way to access Facebook. Scary thought :D

Any finnish guys, girls here?

Can you tune in the radio tomorrow and see what jolla came up with?
http://www.tosielamandiili.fi/startu.../1621051/jolla

And if possible report back here?

Jolla esitellään Huomenta Suomessa MTV3-kanavalla 26.10. klo 6.40 ja klo 8.50.

Radio Novan haastattelu (26.10.2012 klo 14.30)

What are they talking about in the link(radio talk) I only understands Hong Kong, Jolla and start up. Can someone fill out the blanks?

Did they win the competition?

Firstly, there's nothing on the radio tomorrow about jolla afaik.

There is nothing new or interesting about the radio interview (Radio Nova).

The winner of the competition is revealed LIVE at the slush event.
Jolla now leads the "likes" with 1300. Next one has about 1000.

Thank you.

Old news, it was all about the interview.

I honestly don't know where you get that "tune in radio tomorrow".

I listened the interview twice and didn't notice anything like that.

It was tomorrow two weeks ago. :D The end result was this interview which I completely missed.

You can stop looping the interview, ;)

" For our fans and supporters in Finland (and know Finnish), tune in tomorrow on MTV3 and Radio Nova!
