For those of you dying to hear, my VW Dieselgate peace offering has arrived in my physical inbox, and as of yet my Jolla tablet refund has not appeared in my electronic one.

But VW had a two-week headstart, so perhaps Jolla can come from.behind. Stay tuned!

The company was bankrupt only a few months ago, and they might not exist this time next year either.

So unsurprisingly, they're having trouble finding suitable people.

Difficulties finding suitable people are not that uncommon, Jolla is special in sense that they cannot afford to train new people to do stuff and really qualified people cost money and may be hard to attract. Especially given the last developments that have tarnished the company's reputation quite a bit.
