Nice, works now, thumb14

How about overclocking what the status on that, can't seem to find anything on it using thumb

Kernel-cssu is overclockable, like kernel-power. Install kernel-power-settings to easily switch between profiles. These preset profiles are the same as for kp51r1.

Freedom of choice is really irritating, because you have to choose :D

Does
Code:

uname -a
display the same?
Did you reboot after the install of kernel-cssu?
What does
Code:

apt-cache policy kernel-cssu kernel-power
report?

kernel-cssu is not flashing if kernel-power is already installed.
At least @freemangordon said so.

Re: [ANNOUNCE] CSSU-thumb thread - stable Thumb2 on N900

Any way to get the thumb kernel up again, all these errors now are pretty ignoring, and yes im still a noob when it comes to this.

---------------

EDIT: just reflashed.....
tried to remove kernel-power resulted in a reboot loop, that's a first for me after 2 years.

So if i want thumb and overclock i have to:
install kernel-power (with settings)
then install thumb as described here

is this correct or should i just forget about OC?

Re: [ANNOUNCE] CSSU-thumb thread - stable Thumb2 on N900

kernel-power-settings is stuck in repos madness, so it require manual tweaks to be compatible with kernel-cssu.

Yet, You may as good use kp51r1 (or any latest kernel-power) - thumb cssu is compatible with it, and kernel-power-settings doesn't complain, when KP is installed.

kernel-cssu is in thumb-repos just to make repos containing everything required, + as testbed for Community Kernel. If You ask me, using latest kernel-power is most sane thing to do, currently.
