Hiya all.

Been following this thread for a while now.

Ordered mine 3rd Nov.

£30 vodaphone new contract paying £3.95 up front for delivery.

Just had a shipping email and my order status gone to complete.

Think I will have any chance of getting it Saturday ???

crossing fingers for you :) - Trust me, it is well worth the wait :) :) - just prepare the juicemachine! (Power outlet on the wall!) - if your gonn aplay as hard as i have with it, you will need to recharge pretty soon, hehe :)

To be fair, it's done ok... 7 hours being abused now, and still just under 50%.... have 3.5g on flipping in and out between 3g and 2g at times whilst travelling, showing movies, games and some apps / widgets on the desktop.... bluetooth on - and tested the radio...

Had the brightness on 1 below max, vibration on, volume on med/high and even screen press sounds on v low...

Possibly a patch or update fix has sorted some battery issues?? :)

well, in my pic you can see the delivery package, special next day - as long as your royal mail guys are doing Saturday deliveries, can't see why they won't deliver it :) - helps as it is before xmas :)

Only other thing is, has MPD posted it? for that we will never know until you get it :)

Mine came from a nokia retail store about 80 miles away :)

Maybe so, but using my laptop as a passenger in the car I did not find easy either. Although partly because I got travel sick :rolleyes: but mostly because reception comes and goes and often its too light to see the screen.

lol, screen is smaller, less travel sickness :)

was dark outside, no problem with the screen, more the focusing on the keys with a moving car :)

Reception was amazing to be honest.... was very impressed, dropped twice for about 10 seconds, and then shot back into 3.5g.... :) - knew vodafone was better down here though :) - so happy :) (Saying that my e71 is voda, and wasn't as good.... maybe an old sim card issue again?! lol)

Ordered 2nd of october no phone call no email ready for despatch since thursday no phone no nothing. Not happy. Glad noone seems to have problems with there handsets maybe this batch will all be okay.

Amen to that +1 - the screen is a dust/smudge magnet, but otherwise I cant believe just how good this is - hang in there everyone - it really is worth the wait, you won't be disappointed.

Well i have been sat here since 7am like a lil kid on xmas morning. Mr Pat otherwise known as Postman has just this minute been in his van to drop of my special delivery of MY N900!!!!!!

Well thats something was already awake anyway! but not expecting this till about 9-10ish! oh yeah! ordered on the 4th of october, £30 t-mobile web & walk with about £30 upfront which has not been charged ,
let me check my MPD order status............................................ .........

yep! same old "ready for dispatch"...package came from Newbury Berkshire nokia retail I live in Bradford! I thought Manchester was closer but my geography is messed up anyway! Now let the testing beguin.

T-mobile sim in the package as well. Alright guys today is our day of N900's I'm now confident a vast majority of us will get them today...and early too! still time to play b4 i get to work for 12pm!

Ahhh!!! Pleeeeease say mine will come! I've been up till 7 with a horrible hangover but I just had to get up... I'm sitting and waiting! Please say mine arrives! Postie normally comes at 9 around here...

Was it a postman that delivered or a special van?

Also, did you guys/gals get calls from MPD to authorise the card, where did they come from (for those who didn't say already), when did you order and where in the country are you?

Oh - what did they say? You may have posted that already but I'm really tired and my memory can only focus on the N900...

Was it the thing about them processing 10 a day and you could get it in 9 days...?

If it was - Manchester said they'd processed 90 in 2 days...!

Mr Postie been here, pushed a Blu-ray through the letterbox - no N900.

I am not totally giving up though as I would expect Special Delivery from a van not normal postie. Just a bit crap MPD do not give out the tracking details or even bother to change the order status.

Yeah it sounds like people have had vans pull up to deliver it... So don't lose hope yet. 1pm is when hope should be lost... Did you get any of the phone calls etc yesterday, Alex?

Mine didnt come with normal postie mind. A royal Mail van pulled up at the door and it was the same guy who always brings special deliverys

Yeah MPD were adament it was posted yesterday as they called to confirm my card and I later confirmed they had taken the money out of my account. So I would have to be pretty unlucky for it not to arrive today, but then my luck varies and live everyone else - I want it LAST month already! :rolleyes:

I'm in the same boat as you then... this waiting game is no fun. I've never been this excited by a phone...

Oh, that's because its a tablet with GSM capabilities :D

Ordered 21st Oct on T-mobile, no phone call, order tracker still says ready to dispatch, was delivered by Royal Mail van (not postman) at about 8.30 this morning. T-mobile sim was with it, when I popped it in it was already activated...oh what a weekend I'm going to have with this baby!

first impressions (only just turned it on): love the size, perfect fit in the hand, tried the phone (no mic problems!), camera works well, beautiful, beautiful screen...will give updates later.

Hope everyone gets their phone today, it does seem that a lot of people are getting them.....

Edit: i live in Sheffield but my phone was sent from Salisbury..go figure

Ordered mine 12/10 on Tmobile 18m contract from MPD. Status is 'Ready for Despatch'. Emailed yesterday to see if mine being sent. Didn't answer my email - lets hope it because they're too busy boxin up and sendin out our phones !
