Hi Bona keep up the amazing work :D i still cant believe how much better this version is over the old smoku port. If you manage to crack the opengl code what sort of performance gains do you think we can expect? Promising times indeed :D

i think it will be as with auto-frameskip(or with skiping at max) but more smoothly and without flashing in some games
if somebody realy can help with fixing gl i will try to improve recompiler(also i want to make some code changes which eq made for his port) which can make more speed gain (also i think that we must remove gtk depedence and use plain x11 with gl es or sdl with softGPU(if gl will be imposible) ) |

bonapart i tried autoframeskip option in psx4m 45-1 and it is slow . frameskip 8 is more better and cycle multi 3 are the perfect , and if you win fps up , with new plugin not rendered by software , yes by hardware open gles , incredible, you are a good developer.

Hello mind if I ask but how come whenever I try to run game such as FFIX I get those back things on the effects and background? and also Dino crisis 2 I can't see the dialog box as it is all black...
As I can see here on the youtube video(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd6zqIs6JU4) graphics seems flawless although sounds on mine is better. I'm running mine on 1150 overclocked but get all those graphic problems. |

didik.wahyono i guess you can't do this, but i think you can rebind /dev/input/js0 to normal keys and use they

I use this configuration to play Crash 2 and MegamanX 6: the frame skip to 8 and cycle multiplier to 2 |

i afraid that PSX have this **** graphics in real (n64 is more powered in fact), if gpu acceleration will be done i'll think about difference AA options, but it'll not be soon

psx4m 0.4.5-3 update: accelometer control(to setup: echo "xxx yyy">/opt/psx4m/config , where xxx is sensitive level, yyy is start angle for up\down, default is 150\500)
nfs3 works fine with it... psx4m-gui 0.4-4 update: this wish and accelometer enabler(configuration in file /opt/psx4m/config) |

samipower, yeah, i returned to soft render(peteGPU uses GL render which is n900 unsupported,my trying to rewrite it to GLES seems to work but cause emy freeze)
in undefined future HW 3d acceleration wih GLES will be used(i have not a lot of free time to it) didik.wahyono: you should configure sixaxix to map your joystick to keyboard keys and use they from emu |

Keep up the amazing work Bona im just amazed how much you guys do for us with no financial reward or gain!! I really look forward to seeing the improvements when gpu implementation starts rolling out. Hopefully the crashing bug will be something simple haha
Anyways just a little bug report on your latest release. When using the accelerometer controls ive noticed a high drop in performance and i run at 850mhz. The games ive tried are ridge racer and rage racer. I dont use the accel function as i have a gamegripper but thought id let you know :D Keep up the great work :D ps.....fancy looking into the Amiga emu aswell haha it could do with some of your skills ha |
