Great news for MeeGo Harmattan developer's community to migrate to Sailfish OS :

So, in theory, Sailfish OS will be more open for developing purposes than MeeGo Harmattan : compile and run C/C++ programs, easily run Debian/Ubuntu by chrooting.

Just hope that Jolla maintain Qt 4.8 in the future (besides Qt 5.0), because PySide is available up to Qt 4.8 (there is no release date of PySide for Qt 5.0). Doing so, many Python/PySide/Qt Quick softwares for MeeGo Harmattan could be ported to Sailfish OS.

Still, I hope there will be some kind of security framework, just not like aegis.
Actually, almost the same thing, but:
- that would show the required autorisations on install (like android)
- that would let me add my own keys.

Yes, time to come out of the closet. MWC or NEVER.

Let's hope they can release the SDK will before that. I'm more intressting in the SDK at this state and yet a other delay of the sdk would be devastating.
