ok, this is my first attempt posting from the phone itself. keys are small but have plenty of tactile feedback. webpages render beautifully on this device, much better than the iphone or the e90 (my previous phone).

oh, i feel my typing speed visibly improving as I write this message. guys, this thing is freakin awesome.

Not as yet,

Postman has not come yet, just done a night shift, and back in again tonight, so I will be waiting until 1pm for the postman to arrive, if he does and it does not turn up ill go sleep and hope a van does not come. If it does turn up, ill whack it on charge then go sleep anyway.

I tend to go into a coma especially that I have been up since 6am yesterday morning. Hope he turns up with/without it so I can just turn in :)

mine stayed at ready to despatch even though it was being delivered. It changed to complete sometime during the day of delivery - I wouldnt pay to much attention to the status - I think when they take money from your account is a better guide

lol same haven't slept much last night maybe a hour or so.
the normal postie has been through only letters, waiting for van to turn up .. so i can sleep!!! :/
i wish MPD had given some tracking info :(

Grrr... I'm still waiting. No sign of a van or my normal postie... This is horrible. Has anyone had anything from Banbury yet? Looks like a fairly decent sized store and they were so friendly and reassuring when they rang me...

Congrats to everyone who has got theirs this morning. I'm increidbly jealous!

It changed from pending stock to ready for dispatch on Thursday. Still says that right now as well.

p.s about the contract switching numbers thingy!
it says it might take up to 12hrs for reg. to be complete, it also says if phone was delivered over weekend, the connection may not take place until monday or tuesday...I definately need a phone this weekend at least. What do i do? got my o2 sim in it right now do i postpone till monday or sunday night? I want web & walk NOW! lol

Any help will be appreciated!

Hi I have been following these forums for a while, and am glad to see a fair few people have got their n900s safely in their hands.

I ordered on 18/10, and my status has just changed to 'complete' and I have had a dispatch email.

Still no n900 though..

On a totally different note, some may be interested....

3rd - This one! I mean very important stuff in here, not obviously as bigger news as the two above (past) but hey its got us through some tough times and hopefully calm seas from here on in!

Status is not 100% reliable neither is when you ordered, The only fact that I can give is as soon as it says "Ready for despatch" it may or may not be despatched "Pending stock" not very likely at all.

Sorry I read your question wrong, they do say its open, however don't expect much on a satuday, however I am sure they are all wanting to get their phones out ASAP so we can stop spamming them :D

speaking to the RM delivery man yesterday, when he parked outside my house, it turns out that my area doesn't have a saturday special delivery, though he seemed to think it might be possible it would arrive with the saturday parcel force delivery.................

but i'm pinning my hopes on monday. ;)

@chrisd - LOL - I have been up for 29 hours and have worked a 12 hour night shift. You may be from psyco but if I dont sleep soon ill be a phsyco and probably hallucinate N900 running away from my grasp, dam hope that doesn't happen, but hey it will be in front of me......sort of.

just a quick question, shld i attempt to reg. my t-mobile sim 2day? because all i've got is an o2 which i intend to port the no. from. But i really need a phone line this weekend. Seeing that in the documentation t-mobile says reg. on weekends may be done on monday or tuesday in which during the time the sim would not be working? is that true or will you be using a different no. for the time being?
