What format do you think slush will use for the stream? flash, html5 or the underdog silverlight?

Nokia threw out in garbage an excellent system for smartphones - MeeGo (N900, and award-winning Nokia N9 phones): an alternative to iPhone, for those who want more possibilities, - as well as sacked many people who worked on it ... and now Nokia is facing bankruptcy.
But the laid-off engineers got together and created Jolla, the start-up of all the good that has been developed in the project MeeGo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_N9#Awards), and now Jolla is in a good place to meet the expectations of investors.
Today Jolla needs your support: I ask all my friends to vote at MTV awards for the Jolla start-up. If they win, they will get the money and, more importantly, the confidence of new investors to grow and prosper. Support a great start-up we will have great smartphones!

For the longest time they had a solid lead, but lately it's been see-sawing between them and SuperCell, spread the word people!!

i hope the sdk will be RELEASED this week so we can start port apps from harmattan to jollaos also I hope much of the SDK is compatible with nemo too :)

I just meant that Supercell started asking their fans to vote for them.

They have couple of really popular iOS games out. (IIRC) Clash of Titans is the most profitable free iOS app right now. Jolla doesn't even have a product out. Supercell fans > Jolla fans = Game over.

Well I actually don't pop over to Android, iOS [insert competing platform] forums, & try every conceivable angle to "**** on their parade" constantly.
I can't think of too many things that are as "mind numbingly" boring as that, I really can't.
I find it far more interesting to learn new things to do/try, or to help inexperienced users etc.
So no, I don't think lumiaman lurks in my heart, nice bit of poetry though... ;)

Seems to me that questioning whether it makes sense to vote without knowing what you're voting for is quite a reasonable point, albeit one that will not find much favour around here these days (The Elop Effect has turned TMO into a haven for fanboys :( ).
