My question now is should I cancel my previous order. Since I assume (please tell me if I assume wrong) the PAYG order is like buying an off-line N900 for £392. What makes me reluctant to cancel is that I once read a post here which said that the flagship store offers T-mobile branded N900s which are locked to them, anybody know if this is true? should I cancel my MPD order?

I would bet a small sum they will not be sim locked. Just cant see it happening unless Tmobile have a branded firmware.

Thanks dansus, that's what I thought. I just hope that the N900 has not been defaced with a big T-mobile logo on it.

I'd have to send the device back and pay for delivery. Small price to pay I guess, especially if it could save me £78 in the long run. Might even sell it myself if I end up with 2 N900s.

Re: N900 UK Networks

i think O2 might be blocking my n900 or something b/c when i try get setting sent from o2 site it wont let me do it with my number and when i send sms to get them sent to me i get no reply.
as anyone else had problems with O2 if not do i need to phone up and activate sim as i read old sims need activating, although mine is new directly from o2
any ideas?

Re: N900 UK Networks

i would say that PAYG sims need activating and will need your details etc before you can use it
