Im not sure if this has been discussed, but i scoured through the update topic and no one else seems to be having this problem.

Application files in /opt not being cleared by flashing firmware has been explained by fanoush.

1 Attachment(s)
I can't update my phone with the NSU, neither with OTA (I have 35 mb rootfs)

I tried to install the firmware with NSU.
It downloaded 165MB, but when it tries to install, it gives me an error (see screenshot)

I use: Windows XP SP3 (32-Bit)
I already installed the update 1.0.1 a couple days ago

My USB ports are not hubs.... (I installed a lot firmwares on different Nokia phones)

What now?
(I rebooted the N900, also rebooted XP.. no luck :( )

I updated via WIFI with it charging via USB.
If you experience a very slow and almost non-responding Maemo after the first restart, just relax.
At least, after I rebooted another time the N900 came out snappier than before.

anyone else having a very slow and often disconnecting winscp/putty connection since the update.

Had no problems with the update itself, went down smoothly, but now when I connect from my pc with either putty or winscp, the connections keeps failing or taking a really long time and then still disconnects.

never had this before the update.

Also I had reboot issues before the update, changed my pmconfig back to the original and have not had a reboot yet.

I already did that :P
I also disabled the other repos to gain more rootfs.

thats why i have 35 (well... 33,1MB to be exact) left as rootfs....

*sigh* :(
