R&D Mode:


1. Install Nokia Harmattan Flasher
2. Turn device off.
3. Run Flasher and copy and paste this command in:

flasher --enable-rd-mode --set-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset

4. It should say waiting for device, plug in your N9. A few seconds later it should say "In R&D Mode" or similar.
5. Now you can fix your device.

6. Once you have fixed problem, turn device off again.
Open Flasher, copy, paste and Enter this command:

flasher --disable-rd-mode

Im waiting for the.deb file for this FDB,
I tried manually ..followed all command steps and dnt knw wats wrong twice it became brick

OMG !! Finally u've done it !!!! Real genius of you man !!!! Looks really cool !!!!!!! I guess you can have different colour options , (Red wud b d ultimate shade wid ur blood red theme) !! Waiting patiently for the deb... Take ur tym for re-vamping the UI of meego !!!!!

Yes, all the colours will be done. Just have some bugs to fix.

Hi i try to install your theme but the x-term showed some errors and then the phone reboots and now i have only black screen with sort of loading bar and nothing happens. What should i do? reflash?

ok this is where sdk mode comes handy for:

1) switch on your phone
2) plug it in to your PC
3) select sdk mode on the phone
4) install winscp & puTTy on your PC
5) open winscp and the address of the host should be 192.168.2.15 with username root and password rootme
6) open puTTY and user will be root and password rootme
8) you can use puTTy to change directory to where you copied the theme to
9) do a cp /location/where/you/copied/the/theme/ /home/user/MyDocs
10) cd /home/user/MyDocs/THEME_NAME
11) sh default.sh

voila, it'll reboot and you are done...


Edit: Remember when you copy the theme to MyDocs it should be directly the theme folder i.e. /home/user/MyDocs/Theme_Name/default.sh
