Trust me, Jolla is no better. I edit the BBS tags by hand, believe it or not. I am typing this on my kid's Android tablet because its keyboard and overall browser experience is miles ahead of Jolla's. Shame, really.

Since you do seem to find Android handy at times, instead of putting it down, why not just embrace it ;)

Well, I can understand. Among other things, I wish, while on my phone, I could simply compile an apk that runs on my phone, say written in C, with a make command. I had once compiled wxmaxima on a version of fedora I had running on my android phone via cshroot. Worked just fine. Frustrating this is not possible with native Android on such nice hardware.

It seems there won't be new tablets from Jolla or other vendors running on Atom processors:

Intel cuts Atom chips, basically giving up on the smartphone and tablet markets

Just realized I will not get my money back in any way. This is because Jolla choose to pay via that **** ***** drug dictator non sfae company named paypal. Who for no ****ing reason blocked my for no long time used paypal account with old email that I have closed long ago.

And when I call that **** company customer service they cant fix the problems.

Guess what. I HATE paypal for long. Now I hate them even more. They are worse than the banks.

No one should use they paece of ****. Every damn internwt shop company should use bitcoins for payment instead of that ashole company.

Could you contact Jolla's help desk and tell them the situation? I doubt they want to throw away money either. :) They should be able to find a different way to give you the refund...

Jolla should be able to pass PayPal and refund directly to you, if they were told the reasons.
