Just to make sure, it wont lock at a 1000 mhz if i choose to set it at that number. I mean it will differ in hz depending what i'm doing on the phone so in rest/idle it wont blast at a 1000 hz but zero or 250 or what it will be?

ok folks, i aint skilled enough to do this myself so im putting out this request to others on here.

im looking for a dev(s) who can write a maemo app to auto install nitdroid and dependancys as well as offer user a few options for custom settings.

anyone up for a challenge :)

Could put it as a [Request] in applications section if nobody takes it up here

my opinion/observation:

overclocked nitdroid improves performance of the device and doesn't lock at 1 ghz all the time, in fact it is much better than before since the minimun is now 125mhz. so it saves battery IMO, before overclocking it stays at 500-600mhz (based on my observation using setcpuoverclock software). I attached a photo of an overclocked nitdroid showing it's maximum 1ghz

@steve will it work like titans kernel on maemo or with a fixed oc speed like now with no oc'ing on NITdroid? If it works the same way as Titans kernel on maemo i would like to test it out and will send you a pm ;)

The kernel code in NITdroid is the same as in Titan's power kernel.

Also, we are using the same parameters Titan has suggested on his OC wiki page.

Cheers!
